With a voice that recalls the most iconic pop moments of the past, Phoebe Dubar is a powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who has surely clocked up more hours on stage than hours asleep over the last decade. Founding member of galactic soul breaks trio PASSERINE and a bunch of funk and soul acts, Phoebe has been a finalist in international songwriting competitions, had support of major blogs (including Indie Shuffle, Tone Deaf, acid stag and more) and radio stations (including triple j, PBS FM, 3RRR-FM and more), and played festivals and stages across Australia (and further afield), Chardonnay usually in hand. Arriving just in time for the summer, party anthem ‘Pushing On’ is Dubar’s first release stamped with her own moniker, with Operatives member Amin Payne meticulously realising Dubar’s penchant for all things 80s and funk through his stellar production.
